Is CBD for horses the same as CBD for humans?

Yes. At Desert Green, we formulate our products with your horse’s best interest in mind. We use high-quality organic hemp oil and full spectrum organic CBD oil. There are no added fillers, flavorings, or other substances that could be harmful to horses.

How do you administer the CBD to a horse?

Depending on the temperament of your horse, the simplest way to administer CBD is to place the dropper or dosage syringe in their mouth and squirt the proper dosage in. Other options are to put the CBD drops into their water or combine them with a bite of their favorite treat.

 

Dosages: The standard recommended dosage of CBD for horses is 25 to 50mg for minis, 75 to 170mg for full-sized (1,100lbs), and 120 to 200mg for large breeds.
